Competitive Teams Require a Tryout
Interested in joining? Athletes must complete a tryout and receive an invitation before registering.
Comp Team 1 is our elite team, designed for athletes interested in competing at the Regional and National level. Athletes are expected to compete in USA Climbing’s Bouldering and Lead/TR disciplines. The focus of this team is learning how the competition stage can help us develop confidence, mental resilience, and foster a growth mindset both on and off the climbing wall.
AGES: 11 - 17
PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
- Mondays & Thursdays | 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Tuesdays | 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM (Off-the-Wall Conditioning)
- Sundays | 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Optional Open Team Climb)
PRICING: $300/month (Includes Unlimited Gym Membership for the duration of enrollment)
PREREQUISITES: Participation in Comp Team 2 or equivalent experience.
COMMITMENT: Participation in the USA Climbing competition circuit is required.
Please note that while team tuition covers coaching and gym access, participation in competitive circuits involves additional costs. These typically include:
- Membership Fees: Annual or Seasonal dues for USA Climbing and/or YCL.
- Registration Fees: Per-competition entry fees.
- Travel: Costs associated with traveling to various host gyms for events.
